UNCLE TONY - played by Anthony Fatigato

1. How did you get involved with the project?

The director of the film is my nephew. He actually asked me if I would to narrate the film for him and the next thing I know I’m in my bedroom on my bed and he’s filming us having a discussion about gambling.

2. How was it working with the director?

Good. It was fun.

3. In the film you seem to know a lot about gambling. Did you do any research for the part?

I didn’t have to do any research because I lived it and I’m still living it.

4. The director has said and I quote, “ My uncle Tony is the backbone to the film. I wouldn’t have taken on making a full feature film without him, not only being in it, but I also couldn't have done it without his guidance.” Do you have any comment?

I just tried to help in any way I could.

5. At the première the buzz was that you stole every scene you were in. Is this your first roll as a supporting actor in a full feature?

I have never been in a film before SORELOSERS. People in the industry on numerous occasions have asked me to audition for films that were shot in Chicago, but I never felt comfortable being a part of something like that.

6. How do you personally think the film turned out?

The filmed turned out to have a lot of different twists and turns that I didn’t expect. I also thought there were some really funny scenes. But on a whole I think we caught the truth about a bookies life and the characters that surround them.

7. Are their any future projects that you have lined up?

Actually I have been writing a script for the last couple years. It’s a period piece that takes place in the Capone era. It would be a costly piece to do but I’m going to be showing it to some producers that are helping us with SORELOSERS and take it from there. Besides that I expect to be going to some film festivals over the next year. We just got news that we were accepted to the Angel City Film festival in Hollywood so I might be going that.
